Entire NBA Playoffs Should Be Played at One Location With Low COVID-19 Rate

Colin Cowherd: “The NBA has always been a very exclusive sport. There are 450 players, many of them fly private jets, and the teams all own their own jets. Make it even more exclusive. Go to Las Vegas, one city. You have 16 teams. These hotels have 70 floors, you can give each team a floor or two. You have one food service company. You don’t have team doctors from everywhere; instead you have one set of doctors. You have one arena that plays 2 or 3 games daily. It’s already the smallest rosters and the fewest players that matter. Sixteen teams, one city, one arena, each have their own floor at one hotel, and one food service. I don’t think it’s crazy. The idea of one centralized location makes a lot of sense.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the NBA should focus its attention on shifting their playoffs to a format with one centralized location in a city like Las Vegas that would be a neutral site with a low rate of COVID-19.

The coronavirus pandemic has sent every sports league around the world into a tailspin with leagues postponing their games indefinitely, and without a clear light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to continuing play.

The NBA and NHL have been hit the hardest in the United States, as they were about to begin their seasons' stretch runs towards the playoffs before the virus halted all public events.

Check out the video above as Colin details how the NBA should go about hosting their postseason.
