Fernando Tatis "Every Time We're Back In San Diego We Have Way More Vibe"

The Padres snapped their season-long four-game losing streak, beating the Mets 4-3 behind another strong start by Yu Darvish but it was Fernando Tatís Jr. that stole the show, doing well, Fernando Tatís Jr. things.

After missing Wednesday's game with what the team called an oblique strain, Tatís returned to the Padres lineup in his normal spectacular fashion, belting a two-run home run in the third inning, hitting an infield single in the fifth, advancing on a throwing error then eventually scoring with a feet-first slide on a wild pitch.

It was once again the ultimate Tatís game, as he tied Ronald Acuna and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for the Major-League home run lead with 17, but also committing his league-leading 15th error of the season.

After the game, Tatís discussed the win, soaking up the vibe of being back in San Diego and the call from the Padres five years ago that changed his life.
