At long last, our National nightmare is over, Trevor Bauer has picked a team!
Months after flirting with fan bases of nearly every team in baseball, the reigning 2020 National League Cy Young award winner announced on Friday that he had was headed to the Los Angeles Dodgers, in a video he produced for his YouTube channel.
According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, Bauer signed a three-year deal for $102 million dollars, with opt-outs after 2021 and 2022. He will earn $40 million dollars in 2021.
Bauer joins a deep Dodgers rotation with Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler, David Price (who opted out of the 2020 season) Julio Urias and Tony Gonsolin and Dustin May.
