New Orleans Saints' head coach Sean Payton appears to be wearing the Roger Goodell clown shirt under a zip-up jacket during his end-of-season press conference. You might not be able to see the whole design but it was enough to make the connection.
It's no secret that Payton's got a beef with the NFL over the blown non-call in the NFC Championship that kept the Saints from playing in the Super Bowl. Although Payton has talked with Goodell about the issue, he has not revealed the details of their conversation.
When asked about how he's been dealing with their loss, Payton said, “What is it now, a week and a half? It feels like it’s been longer than that. I would say honestly after the game for two to three days, much like normal people, I sat and probably didn’t come out of my room, ate Jeni’s ice cream and watched Netflix for three straight days.”
