Not everyone is happy about Lance Armstrong's participation in this weekend's, Superfrog Triathlon, in Coronado.

Because Armstrong is competing in the annual event that raises money for the Navy Seal Foundation, the race cannot be sanctioned. So many competitors will not earn points needed to improve their worldwide rankings.

Still, organizers say the over 800 entries is a record for the event, adding that registration increased by as much as 200 people after Armstrong announced his intentions to be in Coronado Sunday.

A month ago, Armstrong stated he would no longer fight allegations of doping, disqualifying him from sanctioned events. Some competitors in this Sunday's race on the Silver Strand fear Armstrong's participation could tarnish the event's reputation.
